The Sonora Golf Course is located in the western Texas Hill Country, off Interstate 10 at exit 400, 170 miles west of San Antonio.

The course is a straightforward layout squeezed between the airport and US 277 in an area surrounded by limestone outcrops and rolling terrain dotted with live oaks. It moves along level fairways defined by a scattering of oaks, with several ponds in play and a few sand bunkers defending the generous greens. It will play to 3,225 yards, 34.6/114 course/slope ratings off the back tees with one shorter tee.
