The Snow Snake Golf Course is about 30 minutes north of Mt. Pleasant, just off US 127 at the Mannsiding Road exit.

The layout has a Northern Michigan feel as it moves along tree-lined fairways over varying degrees of elevation change. It has a great set of par 3s, a mix of long and short par 4s, and a couple of reachable par 5s in two. Each hole is secluded and isolated without homes or development lining the course, which is used as a ski area in the winter; in fact, the driving range is over one of the ski runs. The layout is a Jeff Gorney design at only 6,138 yards from the tips, 70.0/130, course/slope ratings, with three shorter tees.
