Siasconset is on the southeast side of Nantucket and one of the oldest golf courses in the US.

The course is a 9 hole, links-style layout designed by Alex Findlay and John Grout in 1894 and hasn't changed much over the years. It's a bit inland, but with a view of the lighthouse as it ambles over sandy soil with the fairways bordered by the natural brush and groves of trees at the borders leading to small, oval greens. The golf course is a bit rough at times in the late summers as the fairways are not irrigated and the greens mowed infrequently. It plays to 2,603 yards, 33.0/111, course/slope ratings and a par of 35.
