Shore Gate Golf Club is located just off the Garden State at Sea Isle City within a 245-acre natural tract of pine barrens.

The golf course is a challenging parkland design with rolling laurel, oak, holly, and pine tree-lined fairways and water hazards on eight holes. There's a generous amount of sand bunkers in the form of fairway-long waste areas, conventional, and pot bunkers with moguls and mounding providing generally uneven fairways. The greens are oversized with heavy undulation and swales running throughout. There are five sets of tees from 5,284 yards to 7,227 yards; the middle tees are 6,335 yards, 70.7/132, course/slope ratings, designed by Ron Fream.
