Shady Hollow is just north of the Green River, and the Mammoth Cave National Park is literally in the middle of nowhere.

The layout is set on a large tract of hilly land, with isolated and unique fairway corridors. It's carved through the woods and along cliffs, with numerous doglegs and water hazards, leading to greens set in coves surrounded by trees. The golf course was designed by J.C. Ramsey in the late 1990s and, from the tips, plays to 6,100 yards, 70.0/113, course/slope ratings.
