Schaumburg GC is a 27 hole municipal golf course operated by the City and located south of I-90 and west of I-290 in Schaumburg off Higgins Road.

The courses are parkland style layouts on a large tract of rolling terrain with streams, ponds, and lakes in play on about half of the holes and sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the greens. There's the Tournament, Baer, and Player's nines with five sets of tees overall and from the tips the yardages, course/slope ratings: Tournament-3,238 yards; Baer-3,406 yards; Player's-3,197 yards. Tournament/Baer combination plays to 71.7/130, course/slope ratings; Player's/Baer 71.3/129; Tournament/Player's 70.6/128, designed by Bob Lohman.
