The Saranac Inn Golf and Country Club is 60 miles southwest of Plattsburgh on the north shore of Upper Saranac Lake.

The course was carved through a clearing in the foothills of the Adirondacks with a blend of open and narrow, tree lined fairways. The course rolls up and down the hilly terrain with the primary defenses, other than a pond at 16, the bijou greens well defended or enveloped by sand bunkers. The course was designed by Scottish professional and architect Seymour Dunn in 1910 and plays to 6,631 yards, 72.1/128, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
