Sand Creek Station is 15 minutes north of Wichita off I-135 at the US 50 exit on the south side of Newton.

The course is a mix between parkland and links design elements providing both open and roaming holes and those along tree lined fairways on land divided by Sand Creek. There's numerous water features and a moderate amount of sand traps along the fairways and guarding the greens. The design pays tribute to some notable holes such as the Road Hole green at St. Andrews, the “Redan” from North Berwick, Scotland, and the 12th from the National Golf Links of America. There's a total of four sets of tees, the white tees are 6,103 yards, 70.4/124, course/slope ratings, designed by Jeffrey Brauer.
