Sanctuary Lake is a City of Troy municipal golf course just south of RT 59 and west of Dequindre Road.

It's a links-style course design with water or wetlands in play frequently and 80+ sand bunkers. The course was built on a former landfill and has modest elevation change along with wetland areas bordering a few of the holes providing several forced carries. The golf course was designed by Doug Treadwell and is 6,554 yards, 71.9/133, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter tees.
