St Croix National is located 10 miles east of Stillwater off WI 64 at Highway V in Somerset.

The course winds through rolling hills along isolated, unique, tree-lined fairways. Doglegs dominate the layout with a series of slight to dramatic turns and several doubles. Additionally, there are several water hazards and sand bunkers scattered about the landing zones and defending the greens. Joel Goldstrand designed it, and it's 6,909 yards from the back tees, 74.1/131, course/slope, with three shorter tees.
