Ruffled Feathers is located on the southwest side of Chicago near the I-55 and I-355 interchange.

The course is a challenge both off the tee and on approach to the greens with a variety of wide open and narrow fairways. There's an abundance and variety of sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens with water hazards in some shape or form in play on most holes. The putting surfaces are receptive, but quick with many crowned or ridged. It was designed by Pete and P.B. Dye in 1991 and plays to 6,898 yards, 75.6/140, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees.
