Roy Kizer Golf Course

There's 36 holes at this municipal golf complex operated by the City of Austin, Roy Kizer is the newer course with Jimmy Clay the original layout. It's located on the north side of Austin between William Cannon and Ben White halfway between I-35 and the Austin Airport.

Roy Kizer is an open, links-style layout ambling through lakes and wetlands on a former water treatment plant. There's five set of tees overall from 5,018 yards to 6,819 yards, the middle tees are 6,119 yards, 68.0/111, course/slope rating, designed by Randolph Russell in the early 1990s.

Jimmy Clay is a traditional layout through tree lined fairways with a moderate amount of sand bunkers and water hazards in play. There's four sets of tees from 5,190 yards to 6,914 at the tips, the white tees are 5,887 yards, 68.8/117, course/slope ratings, designed by Joe Finger in the early 1970s.
