Rockwind Community Links is on the northwest side of Hobbs off Lovington Highway with an 18 hole, championship level course and a 9 hole, short course with holes ranging from 60 yards to 185 yards.

The layout is a flat, parkland layout with scattered trees lining the fairways bordered by natural desert areas. The front nine provides for an outer “loop” that surrounds the interior back nine and plays in a clockwise direction around the perimeter of the course, a design based on Muirfield Golf Club in Scotland. It's 7,103 yards from the tips, the Green tees are 6,015 yards, 69.3/115, course/slope ratings, redesigned by Andy Staples.
