Rock Hollow was developed from a former 300-acre rock quarry on the north side of the Wabash River in Peru, about 70 miles north of Indianapolis.
The golf course winds over a large, natural tract of forested land over rolling terrain, with the fairways framed by dense trees and the remains of the rock quarry. There are numerous water hazards and waste areas, multiple strategic risk/reward opportunities, conventional pot bunkers and huge sand waste bunkers, and large, undulating greens. There are four sets of tees overall, tips play to 6,944 yards, 74.2/138 course/slope ratings; the blue tees are 5,912 yards, 69.1/127, and were designed by a Pete Dye protege, Tim Liddy.
