The Rochester Country Club is just south of Rochester off the Spaulding Turnpike at the at Exit 12/Gonic Road to the south

The golf course journeys over a large tract of generally level land along the Cocheco River with ample separation between the holes. There's a mix of narrow, tree lined fairways along with those which are more forgiving off the tee. Other than one 90 degree dogleg, it's mostly straightforward with the fairways lined with trees, three water hazards, and sand bunkering predominately defending the modest, raised greens. The front nine is an old layout designed by William Mitchell in the late 1930s with Phil Wogan adding the backside in the late 1960s. There's four sets of tees with the Blue tees playing to 6,344 yards, 70.2/128, course/slope ratings.
