Riverside is a municipal golf course owned and operated by the city of Fresno off Herndon Avenue on the south side of the San Joaquin River.

It's a traditional layout with trees lining the fairways along gentle doglegs. Other than the holes along the river on bluffs overlooking the river, it's generally over level terrain with water in play on several holes and sand bunkers defending the landing zones and contoured greens. It was designed by Billy Bell in the 1940s, with four sets of tees ranging from 5,427 to 6,674 yards; the Whites are 6,435 yards, with 70.5/125 course/slope ratings.
