River Wilds is on the north side of Omaha in Blair on US 75, about 30 minutes from downtown Omaha.

The golf course is a parkland layout marching over mostly level terrain along a blend of open and narrow, tree-lined fairways with several doglegs providing interest and entertainment. There's a stream that bisects the northern quarter and a pond that comes into play on 1/3 of the holes, along with a variety of sand traps along the landing zones and guarding the greens. There are three sets of tees from 5,114 yards to 6,547 yards from the tips; the White tees play to 6,166 yards, 69.4/122, course/slope ratings.
