River Oaks is a municipal golf course in Sandy off I-15 at 9000 south to the west.

The golf course is in a residential development on bottom land along the Jordan River. There's a mix of open and narrow, fairways carved into the scrub oak natural areas with wetlands and prominent water features throughout and pot and conventional sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens. It was designed by William Neff and from the back tees will play to 6,346 yards, 70.4/131, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
