River Glen is 30 minutes north of downtown Indianapolis off I-69 at the 116th Street exit to the west.

The golf course partially wanders through a residential community along low land on the eastern banks of the White River. The layout is a parkland design traversing tree lined fairways with numerous water hazards incorporated into the course design along with sand traps at the landing zones and guarding the greens. There's four sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,847 yards, 72.7/133, course/slope ratings, designed by Gary Kern in 1990.
