Ridgefield is 10 Minutes southwest of Danbury near the New York border on the George Washington Highway carved through the woods.

The golf course is a parkland style layout with a relatively open and playable front nine while the back nine narrows up considerably along tree lined corridors. There's water hazards in play on several holes with wetlands and ponds but little in the way of sand bunkers generally around the greens. It's only 6,444 yards from the back tees, 71.8/129, course/slope ratings with three shorter sets of tees, designed by George and Tom Fazio in 1975.
