Quicksilver is located southwest of Pittsburgh off US 22 surrounded by farmland and fields.

The course is routed over hilly land with sloping fairways, water on six holes, several doglegs, and a variety of sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the greens. The course plays to 7,012 yards from the tips, 74.6/137, course/slope ratings and four shorter tees, designed by Don Nagode in 1971 and redesigned by Bob Murphy and Sean Parees.
