The Palmer Golf Course is about 40 minutes north of Anchorage near Wasilla in the heart of the Mat-Su Valley with stunning views of Pioneer Peak, the Matanuska River, and Knik Glacier.

The golf course adjoins the Palmer Airport providing at times an entertaining air show/golfing combination experience. It is a basic links style layout with wide open fairways and numerous water hazards and wetlands including the Matanuska River. The course plays to 6,585 yards from the white tees, 70.7/1207 course and slope ratings with several shorter and one longer tees, designed by Bill Overdorf.
