Owl's Nest is about an hour north of Concord off I-93 at Exit 29, just east of the exit ramp, in a residential resort development on the south side of the Pemigewasset River.

The course features a mix of holes: some open, links-style, others through meadows, and still others tree-lined, with moderate elevation changes. There are numerous slight doglegs, the fairways and greens are well bunkered, and six holes have water in play. The course is 6,818 yards off the rear tees, 73.3/133, course/slope ratings, with four shorter tees, designed by Mark Mungeam in 1988 with a Jack Nicklaus redesign.
