Olde Scotland Links

Olde Scotland Links is 20 minutes south of Boston at the intersection of I-495 and Route 24 to the east.

There's a bit of a misnomer in the name as there are no trees on true Scottish links courses, generally no ponds or lakes, and links courses are located on sandy soil adjoining an ocean. Other than those preambles, the course is a solid and challenging, parkland layout with broad fairways. There are links features though as the greens are open in the front with close cut collars providing the option of putting or chipping from off the green. There's water in some shape or form on seven holes and 75 bunkers throughout the course's fairways and around the greens. The course measures 6,790 from the tips, 72.6/126, course/slope ratings with five shorter tees, designed by Brian Silva in 1977.
