Old Fort is a municipal golf course owned and operated by the City of Murfreesboro located along the banks of the Stones River adjacent to the Civil War era Fortress Rosecrans midway between I-24 and US 41.

The layout straddles the River as it serpentines through the tract of level land over fairways bordered by trees. The River may come into play on an occasional shot, but otherwise there's a couple of ponds in play and less than 30 sand bunkers overall. There's six sets of tees from 3,516 yards to 7,086 yards off the tips with the white tees at 6,302 yards, 72.6/131, course/slope ratings, designed by Leon Howard and Denis Griffiths.
