The Ojai Valley Inn and Spa is located 75 miles north of Los Angeles off the 101 Freeway at Ventura.

The layout is routed along towering eucalyptus and oak tree lined fairways through the canyons and creek-beds of the Ojai Valley surrounded by the Topa Topa mountains. It can play to 6,292 yards from the tips, par 70, 71.0/132, course/slope ratings with several shorter tees. The golf course is part of a 200 acre resort and was designed by George C. Thomas who also designed the Riviera and Bel Air Country Clubs in Los Angeles. The original design has changed a number of times, including the period when the US Army used the course as a training facility during WW II. In 1988 Jay Morrish modified the layout and added two original holes lost to the Army.
