Ocean Dunes is located in Florence on the Pacific due west of Eugene.

The layout has true links elements by definition as it was built on sandy soil at the edge of the ocean. It is relatively open to the elements, the fairways run hard and fast, and the greens accept and actually promote the bump and run to stay under the constant breeze and avoid the pot bunkers. It's located just east of the the 101 highway a bit off the Ocean and partially bordering a residential development with sand pine trees at the margins. The course was designed by William G. Robinson and from the back tees plays to 6,055 yards par 71, 70.1/132, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
