Northport Creek is a 9 hole, par 35 layout located near the tip of Leelanau Peninsula overlooking Grand Traverse Bay.

The golf course was built on former farmland and moves over generally level terrain and borders natural red lined corridors or parallel holes. There's several water features and 23 sand bunkers located strategically along the layout with somewhat genera green complexes. It's claim to fame is that it's the first solar powered golf course in the country! there's five sets of tees overall from 1,905 yards to 3,000 yards, designed by Jerry Matthews.
