Northern Pines is on the north side of Kalispell on US 93 in the Flathead Valley

The layout treks over a large tract of land with a blend of fairways traversing rolling meadows and those along tree lined fairways with several holes along the Stillwater River. Additionally, there's four holes bordering a large lakes, numerous doglegs, and sand traps dispersed along the fairways and securing the greens. It can play to 7,015 yards, 72.5/130, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter sets of tees, and was designed by Andy North and Roger Packard in 1996,
