The NPB CC is Jack Nicklaus's redesign of the former North Palm Beach municipal golf course, which is located south of PGA Blvd on the west side of US 1 opposite the North Palm Beach Marina.

Nicklaus took a fairly routine layout and created a municipal layout on steroids pro bono as his gift to the city. The routing provides the usual Nicklaus design features of a volume and variety of sand bunkers along the fairway corridors with multiple water hazards in play, leading to contoured, undulating greens. From the tips, it's 7,028 yards, 73.8/140, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
