The MV Golf Center is 4 miles east of Herkimer on Highway 5, just north of the Mohawk River.

The layout, the former Mohawk Valley Golf Club, is over rolling terrain along mostly broad fairways defined by trees. There are 25 sand traps, mostly greenside, several ponds, and a stream impacting play. There are tees from 5,001 to 6,280 yards, the WHite tees are 5,930 yards, 69.4/124, course/slope ratings.
