The Mt. Whitney Golf Club is between Ridgecrest and Mammouth Lakes on the south side of Lone Pine on US 395.

The golf course is a basic, 9 hole layout with scattered trees lining the fairways and small, postage stamp-sized greens. Its dominant feature though is the scenic setting between the Sierra Nevada and Inyo Mountains with endless views from every hole. The course is a Bob Baldock design from the 1950s, and is 3,312 yards from the back tees, 35.0/114, course/slope ratings.
