The Middle Island Country Club is off Longwood Road of the LIE in Middle Island.

It's a sanctuary of golf with 27 holes secluded by trees for the most part and bordered by natural, undeveloped land. All three nines are challenging with a mix of straightforward, tree lined fairways and numerous doglegs provide interesting risk/reward options. There's an abundance of large sand traps at the landing zones and guarding the greens with numerous water hazards impacting play. There's four sets of tees overall, Dogwood plays to 3,313 yards at the tips, Oak tree, 3,308 yards, and Spruce, 3,241 yards, designed by Baier Lustgarten in the mid-1960s.
