Lewis River is 45 minutes north of Portland in Woodland only 5 minutes off I-5 at Exit 21 to the east on Lewis River Road.

The layout is a classic, Northwest style course with thick old growth trees lining every fairway over level land along the Lewis River. There's numerous ponds and Haughton Creek impacting play along with sand traps generally around the greens. It's a scenic location along the River in the foothills of the Cascades with a great 19th hole overlooking the River. The course originally opened in the 1960s and was designed by Ralph Stading with the tips at 6,367 yards, 70.4/121, course/slope ratings and two shorter tees.
