Lee's Hill Golf Club

Lee's Hill is on the north side of Fredericksburg off I-95 at US 17 in a natural setting along Massaponax Creek. The golf course was built on and around one of General Robert E Lee's campsites during the Fredericksburg Campaign of 1862 with several landmarks still in view today.

The golf course is a challenging, shot maker's layout where course management is at a premium as the holes are bordered by woods, creeks, ponds, wetlands, and sand bunkers. The course is set on hilly land producing frequent uneven lies and confounding the club selection decisions to the small, well bunkered greens. It was designed by Bill Love of Ault, Clark and Associates and plays from 6,834 yards, 72.1/136, course/slope ratings at the tips with three shorter tees.
