Lake Spanaway is south of downtown Tacoma on Pacific Avenue on the northeast side of Lake Spanaway.

The golf course moves along fir-tree-lined fairways over level terrain. It's generally very straightforward with several slight doglegs, 26 sand traps mostly green-side, and one pond. There are multiple tees from 5,604 to 7,083 yards; the White tees are 6,278 yards, 70.0/121, course/slope, designed by A.V. Macan.
