The Lake Region Country Club is in Arlington between Lake Poinsett and Lake Albert on US 81.

The golf course is a tale of two types of design. Half the holes are along confining, tree lined fairways leading to diminutive greens while the balance roam over broad fairways with scattered young trees at the margins and generous greens. In terms of hazards, there's multiple marshes/wetlands and a pond in play and a sparing use of sand bunkers. There's four sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,442 yards, 71.4/125, course/slope ratings.
