La Valle is on the north side of San Diego off the I-5 at Del Mar and is open to public play through a stay-and-play program.

The 27-hole layout borders an upscale residential community along several barranca/water features over generally level terrain. The fairways are bordered by tall palms with ample sand bunkering and generous green complexes. It's an original David/Harry Rainville design with a redesign by Jay Morrish.
