Kinderlou Forest is in a residential community on the west side of Valdosta, off I-75, a mile west on US 221/84, and is open to outside play through a stay-and-play program.

The course is over slightly rolling terrain with a mix of parkland-style holes through the woods in addition to those that are link-style through open meadows. It's well bunkered around the greens and landing zones, and there are water hazards in play on four holes, but no forced carries. There are five sets of tees overall, with the middle, Blue tees playing to 6,471 yards, 71.0/125, course/slope ratings, designed by Davis Love III.
