Ives Hill is just south of downtown Watertown at Massey and Ives Streets off I-81 at exit 45 to the east.

This parkland layout is generally straightforward as it meanders along fairways defined by old growth, hardwood tress with one water hazards yet a generous amount of sand traps guarding the contoured, undulating greens. It plays to 6,646 yards from the tips, 71.7/123, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees. The original 9 holes were designed by Maurice McCarthy in 1897 with additional design work by Peter Lees and the second nine added by Geoffrey Cornish in 1972.
