Ironwood is in the Milwaukee's northwest suburb of Sussex off Rt 16 at Ryan St with 27 holes in the Kettle Moraine.

The layouts feature a blend of links and parkland elements along narrow and broad, tree lined and mounded fairways with tall fescue at the borders, multiple water features, and an abundance of sand traps. Birr is interesting and unique with water in play on seven of the holes with a variety of blind shots and risk/reward opportunities. Callow has some elevation change to it with confining fairways, numerous water features, and smallish greens. Meath is more open and with less water than Callow and Birr and provides a variety of placement holes with drivable par 4s and potentially reachable par 5s in two.
