Inshalla is in the Northwoods area north of Tomahawk, on the east side of Halfmoon and Clear Lakes, and carved through the forest.

It's a parkland layout with water in play on half the holes along narrow and sloping, tree-lined fairways with sand bunkers at the landing zones and guarding the greens tucked into coves. There are four sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 5,915 yards, 68.8/125, course/slope ratings, and a par of 70, designed by John Hein.
