Huron Shores Golf Club is north of Port Sanilac on Lakeshore Road, carved out of a dense hardwood forest.

The golf course is a parkland design touring over slightly rolling terrain on the west shore of Lake Huron. It's a target layout with water hazards, including Miller Creek in play on half the holes as it moves along narrow, tree-lined fairways with sand traps, mostly greenside. The initial nine holes were built in 1925, with a second nine added and a redesign by Jeff Gorney in the late 1990s. It's a short, par 70 layout of 5,428 yards, 67.0/121, course/slope ratings from the tips.
