House on the Rock is about an hour west of Madison near Helen on the south side of the Wisconsin River with 27 holes.

The Springs is a parkland style layout over the valley floor along narrow fairways with water on early every hole and small to mid-sized, greens well guarded by sand bunkers. There's a good mix of open holes along with those which are tree lined with doglegs. There's three sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,597 yards, 71.7/126, course/slope ratings, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.

The North nine has significantly more elevation change over the hilly and sloping tree lined fairways with several water features. It plays to 3,262 yards from the tips, 35.4/129, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Roger Packard and Andy North.
