Hotchkiss is on the south side of Wonoskopomuc Lake in Lakeville in the far northwest corner of Connecticut in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains.

The course is a classic by Seth Raynor from the 1920s and preserved much as the original design. It winds through the college campus buildings at the top of the hill with old growth hardwood trees at the borders leading to modest, well protected green complexes. It's only a 9 holer and short at 3,080 yards from the tips, 36.2/130, course/slope ratings.
