Hominy Hill is located in North Jersey on the east side of Freehold in Colts Neck and is part of the Monmouth County Park System.

The golf course is a classic parkland layout with most fairways tree lined on level ground, and a strategic struggle with 138 sand bunkers and water in play on 4 holes. The greens are large with moderate undulations and guarded by Jones' trademark sculptured bunkers which finger out to catch the slightly off-line shots. The course measures 7,049 yards, 74.2/131, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.
