Hobble Creek is an hour south off Salt Lake City off I-15 to the east at Springville.

The golf course is a traditional layout traversing tree lined fairways up and down Hobble Creek Canyon over the mountain terrain and along Hobble Creek. It's short anyway and made shorter by the altitude advantage, but it's delightful to play in a beautiful setting with nearly every shot worthy of a postcard. Many holes have either OB or deep brush just off the fairways and it's not all that forgiving off the tee, but the approaches to the green mostly straightforward. It plays to an overall yardage of 6,315 yards, par 71, 70.0/131, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by William F. Bell.
