Hidden Lakes is on the southeast side of Wichita in Derby off 63rd/Patriot on the east side of I-35.

The golf course is a parkland design along fairways lined by trees with water hazards on over half the holes by a chain of lakes cutting diagonally across the course along with sand bunkers defending the oval or kidney-shaped greens. There are three sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,773 yards, 72.9/130, course/slope ratings, designed by Floyd Farley.
