Hickory Hill is north of Boston on the west side of Lawrence and the Merrimack River off I-93 at Lowell St then west.

The layout is a traditional design winding along tree lined fairways over slightly rolling contours. The fairways are defined by old growth, hardwood trees with numerous water hazards in play as well as sand traps primarily guarding the generally small, oval or kidney shaped greens. It's short at just 6,287 yards from the tips, 70.8/123 course and slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Manny Francis.
