The Henry County CC is on the north side of New Castle, well out in the country, surrounded by farmland and forests.

The golf course is a parkland-style layout, with broad, tree-lined fairways, some elevation changes, a few ponds and lakes affecting play, and sand bunkers, mostly greenside. It plays to 6,721 yards from the tips 71.1/130 course/slope ratings, with three shorter tees.
